Requirements and Testing Management V-Model
Make sure that everyone, both in the project team and steering committee, understand all the phases of a typical development process. Different individuals tend to focus on parts of the process and neglect other equally important steps!

Description
The V-model slide here illustrates a typical development process (hardware or software development) and can be a very useful visualization tool to get stakeholders who are unfamiliar with development projects to understand the development process. Instead of moving down in a linear way, the process steps are bent upwards after the coding phase, to form the typical V shape. The V-Model demonstrates the relationships between each phase of the development life cycle and its associated but critical testing phases. The horizontal and vertical axes represent time or project completeness (left-to-right) and level of abstraction respectively. Use this model to make everyone in the project understand the sequences of activities in the development row. Please note that many V-models exist, but this is just a simple format I have used to illustrate the importance of good requirement descriptions and subsequently testing activities.
