However, I have always had amazing success in starting out with this simple Excel sheet. Sometimes, I have used it throughout the project. A simple task list is actually one of the most powerful templates you can have as a project manager. With such a document you can quickly ensure that specific deliverables in the project are defined, tracked and executed. Use this simple project task list to add tasks, assign resources to tasks, update the progress on tasks, and view the task information.
