Critical success factors (CSFs), also known as Key Results Areas (KRAs), refer to the activities that must be completed to a high standard of quality in order to achieve the goals of your project. CSFs are a way to prioritize certain tasks as the project plan is being executed. They are found in the project management plan and define what it means for the project to be successful.
CSF’s should be SMART goals, that is:
– Specific,
– Measurable,
– Achievable,
– Relevant and
– Time-bound.
