Description
Ideally, as the project manager, you should always conduct an interview with the project sponsor before beginning the project. The purpose of such an interview is to clarify how the sponsor will determine project success, what the business objectives of the project are and identify the key stakeholders of the project. This template serves as the formal minutes of meeting with a clear definition of the Sponsorship responsibility. In practice, I suggest you always send the template or the included questions to the sponsor(s) in advance to help them prepare for the interview in person.
